Due to manufacturing and/or shipping, case mouths may not be perfectly round. To ensure proper bullet seating, cases should be resized (using a neck expanding die if necessary) to round and slightly flare the case mouth for easy bullet insertion. Deburring and removing any burrs is also advised prior to loading._x000D_

New brass cases may exhibit discoloration on the neck or body. This is a result of the annealing processa rapid heating to a specific temperature followed by quick cooling performed by the manufacturer. Annealing provides the cases with the ideal hardness to securely hold the bullet while allowing flexibility for expansion and contraction during firing and resizing. The discoloration is a harmless residue from this process.
