LEE Die Set for 7.5x55 Swiss Reloading and Precision Shooting

Die Lee Limited Production 2-Die Set for Caliber 7.5x55 Swiss.

This precision-engineered kit includes two high-quality steel dies specifically designed for the meticulous reloading and resizing of 7.5x55 Swiss cartridge cases, ideal for hunters and precision shooters seeking optimal performance and consistency in metallic and semi-metallic ammunition reloading.

The set comprises the following components:

Resizing Die: This die is engineered to fully resize the cartridge case, effectively removing the spent primer and slightly expanding the neck of the case to ensure reliable chambering and consistent bullet seating. Proper lubrication of the case is essential prior to resizing to prevent case damage and ensure smooth die operation.

Seating Die: The bullet seating die is adjustable, allowing precise control over bullet seating depth within the case neck. This die initiates the crimping process by gently closing the case mouth, but care must be taken to avoid excessive crimping, as the 7.5x55 Swiss cartridge employs a roll crimp design that can be compromised if over-tightened, potentially damaging the case and affecting ballistic performance.

Shell Holder: Included is a compatible shell holder designed to securely hold the 7.5x55 Swiss cartridge during the resizing and seating operations on standard reloading presses, ensuring alignment and repeatability throughout the reloading cycle.

Powder Measure: A calibrated powder scoop is provided to facilitate precise and consistent powder charges, critical for maintaining safe pressures and achieving desired ballistic results in both metallic and semi-metallic cartridge configurations.

Load Data Chart: The kit includes a comprehensive load data chart; however, it is important to note that the chart does not cover Spanish powder formulations. Reloaders should consult appropriate ballistic manuals or manufacturer data for compatible powders to optimize load performance and safety.

For optimal die performance and to extend case life, it is strongly recommended to apply a suitable case lubricant before the resizing process. This practice minimizes friction and prevents case sticking or deformation during resizing, which is especially important when working with semi-metallic cases or high-volume reloading sessions.
