What it is and what it does
The Rusan ARM52-30 is a clamping/quick-release adapter intended to couple night-vision or thermal clip-on front devices to primary optics. It enables fast attachment and removal while keeping the device secured under use and recoil.
Key characteristics
The adapter features a female M52x0.75 thread for devices with that thread and a 30 mm external diameter (30 mm version). The specific clamping length for this model is 27 mm and the overall length is approximately 48 mm. Declared weight is 0.164 kg. It is made from aircraft aluminium with a special inner material to improve grip. The adapter remains in place during firing tests with high-power calibres (tests mentioned with .338 Lapua Magnum and .416 TYR).
Compatibility
Suitable for devices equipped with an M52x0.75 thread; Dedal, Jahnke DJ-8 NSV and Lahoux. It can also be used with reducing rings to adapt other threads; APS22, APS28, ADN33, ADFA75, AF135-F155, ATIR-M35 and ATA435.
