The Rusan ARM52-40 is an adapter that allows night-vision and thermal clip-on devices or monoculars to be mounted to the objective of scopes that feature an M52x0.75 thread. It provides the mechanical interface needed to secure and align the clip-on device to the riflescope.

The adapter uses an M52 x 0.75 thread and corresponds to the 40 mm size within the ARM52 family. The ARM52 range reports a common clamping length of 37 mm for most sizes; some variants in the family are shorter (24 or 27 mm) depending on model.
