What it is and what it does
The Rusan ARM52-62 is a quick-release clamping adapter designed to attach night vision and thermal clip-on devices with an M52 x 0.75 thread to the outer tube of day optics with a 62 mm outer diameter. It provides a solid mechanical interface to mount clip-on units on the objective housing.
Key characteristics
The adapter uses an M52 x 0.75 thread for device attachment and is intended for an objective outer diameter of 62 mm. Most sizes have a total length of 48 mm and a clamping length of 37 mm; the listed weight for the ARM52 family is 0.164 kg. The adapter is manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminium. The series was redesigned to include new locking levers, a reduced wall thickness of 2.0 mm in certain areas, and preparation for a Weaver rail on sizes >=47 mm. The adapter has been successfully tested with high-recoil calibres such as .338 Lapua Magnum and .416 TYR.
