ST-557-6M-12X-4G-EU-G Solar PTZ Camera 6MP

What it is and what it’s for
The ST-557-6M-12X-4G-EU-G is an autonomous outdoor surveillance camera designed to run on an internal rechargeable battery and a solar panel. It enables remote monitoring via 4G and is intended for locations without fixed mains power.

Main features
The provider lists 6 MP resolution and H.265 video compression. The device includes PIR detection and an IP66 rating for outdoor use. Distributor manuals and listings describe a dual-lens configuration (sources indicate 4 mm + 12 mm) with 12x optical zoom. Reports from distributors state an internal rechargeable battery (listed as 12,000 mAh in some sources) and an included solar panel (the provider lists 6 W; some distributors report 7.5 W). The camera offers horizontal rotation up to 355° and 90° tilt, night vision with IR and white LEDs (reported reach up to 30 m), microSD (TF) support up to 128 GB and cloud storage, plus two-way audio with built-in microphone and speaker.

Compatibility
The camera uses 4G (SIM slot) and is configured/viewed via the UBox app (iOS/Android) with Bluetooth for initial pairing. Several sources indicate '4G only'—check 4G band compatibility with your mobile operator before purchase.

Box contents and accessories
According to the user manual, the box includes: camera ×1, solar panel ×1, solar panel recharge cable ×1, 5 m power extension cable ×1, bracket and screws ×1, and user manual ×1. microSD is supported up to 128 GB but does not appear on the packing list; verify whether a memory card or cloud subscription is required.

Warnings to avoid returns
There are documented discrepancies across sources (solar panel wattage, PIR range, battery capacity and some power/consumption figures). The invoice lists TAGRAC as supplier, but public documentation for the ST-557 model is often published under SECTEC; request the official product datasheet from your supplier to confirm exact specs (physical dimensions, 4G bands, etc.).
