Starline Brass Cases for .32 S&W Long Caliber – Bulk Pack of 100 Units

Starline Precision Ammunition Components is committed to manufacturing brass casings with the tightest possible tolerances, ensuring each metal piece meets rigorous quality standards essential for consistent ballistic performance. These .32 S&W Long caliber brass cases are engineered to comply fully with SAAMI specifications, guaranteeing dimensional accuracy and reliability for handloaders and competitive shooters alike.

Each cartridge case undergoes a specialized thermal treatment process designed to enhance structural integrity and extend service life. This proprietary heat treatment optimizes the metallurgical properties of the brass, providing superior strength and resilience under repeated firing and resizing cycles. The result is a casing that maintains its form and function through multiple reloads, minimizing case failures and improving overall shooting consistency.

Manufactured from new, virgin brass with no primer pockets pre-primed, these cases require trimming and chamfering prior to loading to ensure optimal bullet seating and chamber fit. Due to the nature of production and transportation, case mouths may occasionally exhibit slight deviations from perfect roundness. It is strongly recommended to size the case necks using an expander die during the resizing process; this action will restore the mouth to a true circular profile and slightly flare it, facilitating smooth bullet insertion and preventing damage to the projectile’s jacket.

Handloaders should also inspect and deburr the case mouths to remove any residual burrs or sharp edges that could impede bullet seating or cause inconsistent neck tension. Proper case preparation is critical for achieving uniform chamber pressures and maximizing accuracy.

Visual surface imperfections such as discoloration or spotting on the neck and body of the brass are common and result from the annealing process employed by the manufacturer. Annealing involves rapidly heating the case to a precise temperature followed by swift cooling, a metallurgical treatment that softens the brass to the ideal hardness. This controlled softening allows the case neck to expand and contract reliably during firing and resizing, reducing the risk of cracking and improving bullet retention.

These annealing marks are purely cosmetic and do not affect the performance or structural integrity of the brass. They serve as an indicator of proper heat treatment, ensuring that each case is optimized for safe and effective reloading in precision shooting applications.
