7mm-08 Starline Brass Cases 100 pcs
Starline Brass Case Caliber 7mm-08 Remington
Box containing 100 units (Bulk packaging)
Starline brass cases are meticulously manufactured from a premium brass alloy, engineered to deliver consistently precise internal volume and superior resistance to stretching and brittleness during repeated reload cycles. This ensures optimal performance and longevity for precision handloaders and competitive shooters alike.
The neck annealing process facilitates easier case neck expansion, promoting enhanced case life and reliable bullet seating during the reloading process. This thermal treatment reduces work hardening, allowing for multiple reloads without compromising case integrity.
Remington maintains stringent manufacturing tolerances, ensuring each metal component adheres closely to exacting dimensional standards. This precision manufacturing guarantees uniformity in case dimensions, contributing to consistent chambering and ballistic performance.
All cases are produced within SAAMI (Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute) specifications and incorporate specialized heat treatment protocols and design optimizations to enhance tensile strength and durability under high-pressure firing conditions.
These are new, unfired brass cases without primers, providing a clean and reliable foundation for custom handloading applications.
It is recommended to trim and chamfer the case mouth prior to loading to ensure proper bullet seating and to prevent bullet deformation or seating issues.
Due to manufacturing and/or transportation processes, case mouths may not be perfectly concentric or round upon receipt.
To achieve a perfectly round case mouth, it is advisable to size the cases using an appropriate expander die. This die will simultaneously round and slightly flare the case mouth, facilitating smooth bullet seating and consistent crimping. Additionally, deburring and removing any residual flash or burrs from the case mouth is essential before loading to prevent bullet damage and ensure reliable chambering.
Notes:
Surface discoloration or spotting may be observed on new cases, both on the neck and body sections.
This is a normal result of the annealing process performed by the manufacturer, which involves rapid heating to a precise temperature followed by rapid cooling.
This thermal treatment imparts the necessary hardness to securely hold the bullet while providing the flexibility required for case expansion and contraction during firing and resizing cycles.
The discoloration is merely a residue from this heat treatment process and does not affect the structural integrity or performance of the brass cases.
