Black Satin Cold Bluing Effect Ceramic Coating
Firearm Restoration.
Advanced cold bluing ceramic coating designed to replicate the traditional parkerizing effect, providing superior protection and aesthetic enhancement to metallic firearm surfaces. This specialized treatment is engineered to restore, preserve, and shield steel and semimetallic components from environmental degradation, including oxidation, corrosion, and fouling residues commonly encountered in hunting, shooting, and metallic reloading applications.
Formulated for easy and efficient application, this product acts as a powerful degreaser and surface preparer, effectively removing contaminants, rust, and corrosion layers to ensure optimal adhesion and durability of the protective coating.
Application Instructions:
- Shake the aerosol can vigorously to homogenize the active ingredients.
- Spray evenly over the cleaned firearm surface from a distance of 25 to 35 centimeters, maintaining the can in a vertical or slightly tilted position.
- Apply uniform passes until the desired finish and coverage are achieved, ensuring a consistent satin black coloration.
- Allow the coated surface to air dry at ambient temperature for a minimum of 4 hours before handling.
- Full curing and maximum chemical resistance develop over 2 to 3 weeks under normal conditions.
- Alternatively, accelerate the curing process by heat treating the firearm at 140-150ºC for 1 hour, which enhances coating hardness and longevity.
This satin black ceramic layer is ideal for hunters, marksmen, and reloaders seeking a durable, corrosion-resistant finish that maintains the integrity and performance of their firearms and metallic components over extended periods of use and exposure.
