Vector Optics Frenzy Plus 1x18x20 (FDE)

What it is and what it's for
The Vector Optics Frenzy Plus 1x18x20 (FDE) is an enclosed reflex (red dot) sight intended for close-range shooting and use on real firearms, including pistols. It is designed for fast target acquisition at short distances.

Key characteristics
It features an 18 × 20 mm window and a body constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. The dot size is 3 MOA and the unit offers eight daytime brightness levels plus two night-vision compatible modes. The sight is essentially parallax-free (<2 MOA) set at 100 yards; adjustment clicks are 1 MOA and total elevation/windage travel exceeds 45 MOA. Power is a CR2032 battery (not included) with up to 50,000 hours runtime at the lowest setting.

Durability and dimensions
Rated IP67 for water resistance and shockproof to 1000 G. Operating temperature range is -20 °C to +55 °C. Mounting length is 46 mm, width 32 mm, height 34 mm and net weight for the FDE variant is 83 g.

Compatibility and platforms
The footprint is VOD (compatible with ACRO pattern such as Aimpoint® Acro C-1/C-2/P-1/P-2). The manufacturer states it can withstand recoil from platforms/calibers including 9 mm, .223/5.56, .308, 12 GA and .338 Lapua Magnum.

Box contents and notes
Retail package includes a low Weaver mount, hex keys and a cleaning cloth. Depending on the variant, adapters/plates for other mounting patterns may be included.
