Vector Optics Maverick-II 1x22 GenII (SCRD-12II)

What it is and what it is for
The Maverick-II 1x22 GenII (model SCRD-12II) from Vector Optics is a reflex red-dot sight designed for quick target acquisition at close ranges. The manufacturer positions it for target shooting, tactical use and hunting, and as a compact optic for rail-mounted platforms such as AR-style systems.

Key features
It has a 22 mm objective lens and a 3 MOA red dot. Illumination provides 11 settings (10 daytime levels plus one night-vision level). Windage and elevation adjust in 1 MOA clicks with an adjustment range exceeding 100 MOA; the manufacturer states a parallax of 1 MOA and that the sight is effectively parallax-free. The unit includes a motion sensor, audible clicks, a quick-release Picatinny mount and a rubber housing with a 6061-T6 aluminum alloy mount.

Compatibility
Supplied with a QD Picatinny mount and a low Weaver mount, it is compatible with Picatinny rails and AR platforms. The manufacturer does not assign any specific caliber to the sight.

Package contents and extras
Vector Optics lists the retail package contents as: the sight, quick-release Picatinny mount, low Weaver mount, lens cover/flip-up cap, hex keys, cleaning cloth and related accessories. Power is by a CR2032 battery in a side-loading compartment; the official documentation specifies the battery type and loading but does not state explicitly whether the battery is included, so confirm before sale if required.

Return-avoidance notes
Check the height from base to dot center (product page shows 38 mm / 1.5 in while the SKU table shows 38.5 mm). Verify that the supplied mounts match your firearm. Manufacturer warranty: 5 years.
