LPVO 16x24 scope, German #4 fiber illuminated reticle, 30 mm tube, 1/2 MOA turrets with return-to-zero (SCOC-48).
Description
The Vector Optics Continental x6 1-6x24 Fiber (SCOC-48) is an LPVO designed in a "Hunting" style for short to medium ranges, featuring true 1x for rapid target acquisition. It is intended as a versatile scope for hunting and shooting scenarios where quick transitions between unaided and magnified views are needed.
Key specifications from the official data include 16x magnification and a 24 mm objective lens. It uses a German #4 fiber reticle with an illuminated centre, placed in the second focal plane (SFP). The tube diameter is 30 mm and overall length is 283 mm. Eye relief is listed as 95 mm (~3.74 in), with exit pupil ranging from 7.2 to 3.5 mm. Optics are treated with VePRO FMC coatings and the manufacturer cites over 90% light transmission.
Adjustments and durability: turrets click at 1/2 MOA with a return-to-zero function; elevation and windage travel are 120 MOA each. Parallax/side focus is set at 100 yards. The housing is 6061-T6 aluminum, nitrogen filled, rated IP67, rated shock resistance 1000 G, matte black finish. Weight: 478 g.
Power and illumination: the scope uses a CR2032 battery type according to the product page. Illumination is described on the product page as "6 Gears", while a section of the user manual references "11 intensity levels red" (documented discrepancy). The manual also notes an On/Off switch and intensity controls.
Compatibility and mounting: the manufacturer does not specify compatible calibres. The 30 mm tube diameter implies the need for 30 mm-compatible rings or mounts; verify fit and compatibility with your firearm before purchase.
Package contents: the official listing cites "User Manual, Cleaning Cloth, Lens Caps, Spare Elevation Turret, etc." and does not provide an exhaustive contents list. It is not explicitly stated whether the CR2032 battery is included; confirm this point prior to shipment.
Return-avoidance notes: confirm with the supplier whether the battery is included and clarify the actual number of illumination intensity levels (6 vs 11) to avoid mismatches upon receipt.
