The Tauron GenII 3-24x56 ED is a first focal plane (FFP) rifle scope by Vector Optics intended for long-range shooting, PRS/DMR and precision rifle applications. The FFP reticle scales with magnification.
Key features
Variable magnification from 3x to 24x with a 56 mm objective. The optical system uses ED (extra-low dispersion) glass and LaREE HD lenses with Fully Multi-Coated coatings. The monotube body measures 34 mm in diameter and is made from 6061 T6 aluminum alloy with a matte black finish. Eye relief is 95 mm; exit pupil ranges from 18.6 to 2.3 mm. Linear field of view is 41.15.13 ft @100 yd (13.691.71 m @100 m). Overall length 348 mm and weight 1007 g.
Mechanics and adjustments
Turrets click at 1/10 MIL with audible clicks and 100 clicks per revolution. Elevation travel is 30 MIL and windage 20 MIL. The elevation turret features a zero stop. Side focus/parallax correction operates from 10 yards to infinity. Diopter compensation +2 to -2.
Durability and sealing
Nitrogen filled, shockproof to 1000 G and rated IP67 (1 m for 30 minutes) per the manufacturer.
