What it is and intended use: The Continental x10 is a low-power variable optic (LPVO) from Vector Optics, intended for IPSC/competitive shooting, varmint/small-game hunting and short-to-medium range precision work. Its 1–10× range provides wide field of view at low magnification and precision at higher magnification.

Key specifications: Variable magnification 1–10× with a 24 mm objective, second focal plane (SFP). 30 mm monotube made of 6061-T6 aluminum with a matte finish. ED glass with LaREE and VePRO fully multi-coated elements and a manufacturer-claimed light transmission above 93%. Etched VCO-7MIL BDC reticle with a fiber central dot and 11-gear illumination; illumination powered by a CR2032 battery (type specified by the manufacturer). Eye relief is 95 mm. Compatibility: The manufacturer’s product page does not list approved calibers. A Vector Optics distributor lists approved calibers as .223, .308WIN, .300WIN, 30-06 and .338 Lapua; that distributor list is not present on the manufacturer page and should be verified before use with high-recoil calibers.
