Description
The Tauron GenII 4-32x56 ED SFP (model SCOL-56) is a long-range riflescope designed for precision shooting. It is a variable-power optic intended for applications that require fine elevation and windage adjustments.
It features a 432x magnification range and a 56 mm objective. The tube is a 34 mm monotube made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a matte black finish. Lenses are fully multi-coated and include ED (extra-low dispersion) glass to reduce chromatic aberration. Eye relief is 95 mm and the field of view ranges from 30.77 to 3.82 ft per 100 yards; the angular field is specified as 5.88°0.73°. Parallax/adjustable focus is from 25 yards to infinity and diopter correction ranges from +2 to -2.
The reticle is second focal plane (SFP) VTA-6 MIL; as SFP the reticle size does not change with magnification. Turrets click at 1/10 MIL per click (each click = 1 cm at 100 m), with 100 clicks per revolution (10 MIL per rev). Elevation travel is 28 MIL and windage travel 16 MIL, with a Zero Stop feature. The reticle illumination offers 6 levels and is powered by a CR2032 battery according to the manufacturer.
Durability: the scope is rated IP67 (dust and water resistant), nitrogen-filled for fogproofing and the manufacturer specifies 1000 G impact resistance. Overall length is 360 mm and weight is 1,004 g.
Mounting: the 34 mm tube requires compatible 34 mm rings/mounts; the manufacturer does not list specific compatible calibers.
Items listed by the manufacturer: user manual, plastic wrench, cleaning cloth, flip-up caps, power throw lever, sunshade and hex keys. The product page includes "etc." in the accessories list, so verify the exact items supplied with your unit.
All technical points above are taken from Vector Optics' official product documentation for SCOL-56.
