NITECORE EDC29 LED Flashlight

What it is and what it's for
The NITECORE EDC29 is a high-performance EDC (Everyday Carry) flashlight designed for daily carry, tactical use, security patrols, search & rescue and personal defense. It offers modes suitable for both close-range illumination and long-range search tasks.

Main characteristics
It uses 2 NiteLab UHi 20 MAX LEDs with a maximum output of 6,500 lumens in white light. The orange-peel (OP) reflector and a peak intensity of 40,230 cd allow a listed range of up to 400 meters in SEARCH mode (measured at 3,000 lm). An OLED screen displays output level, battery voltage, runtime and lock status. Power comes from a built-in 2,500 mAh Li-ion battery with an integrated USB-C charging port; the manufacturer indicates an approximate charge time of 1 hour 15 minutes with a 5V/2A adapter and up to 61 hours runtime at the ULTRALOW 15 lm level. Features include LUMIN SHIELD™, M-TURBO, Rapid Lock™, mode memory, ATR and APC for thermal and power management. Protection rating is IP54 and impact resistance up to 1 m.

Dimensions and build
The supplier lists dimensions as 36 x 36 x 132 mm; official documentation adds construction details: stainless steel front and rear pieces with PVD coating and a carbon fiber reinforced polymer body. Official weight is 160 g.

Compatibility
The EDC29 has an internal battery and charges via USB-C; it does not use removable cells and the manufacturer does not list compatibility with external batteries. Confirm suitability if you require replaceable batteries.
