What it is and what it's for:
The NITECORE NU30 is a compact headlamp intended for trail running, trekking, hiking, camping and emergency lighting. It is worn on the head and offers white and red lighting options for different situations.
Key features:
Maximum output is 500 lumens with a throw up to 130 meters (max intensity 4,062 cd). It uses 4 NiteLab UHE LEDs: a main white LED (~6000 K), a high-CRI auxiliary white LED (CRI >= 90, ~4500 K) and an auxiliary red LED. The NU30 provides three light sources, seven brightness levels and three special modes (for example SOS and beacon). It integrates a rechargeable Li-ion battery (1,500 mAh per the official spec) with USB-C charging; typical charge time is about 2 hours with a 5V/1A adapter and runtime up to 97 hours in ULTRALOW (6 lumens). The housing is made of PC material and it is impact resistant up to 1 meter.
