What it is and what it's for:
The NITECORE MH40 Pro Hunting Kit is a long-range flashlight intended for hunting, search, patrol, rescue and tactical/professional applications. It uses the NiteLab UHi 40 MAX emitter and is supplied as a kit including the rechargeable battery pack and a wireless remote switch.
Key characteristics:
Maximum output is 3,500 lumens when used with the NBP100R (10,000 mAh). The maximum throw is up to 1,300 metres and peak intensity is 423,000 cd, according to the FL1 table. The light offers four brightness levels (LOWMIDHIGHTURBO) plus special modes (STROBE/BEACON/SOS). Construction is aero-grade aluminum alloy with HA III hard-anodized finish. Rated IP68 and impact resistant to 1 m. Dimensions: length 256.0 mm; head diameter 65.0 mm; tube diameter 26.2 mm. Weight 270 g without battery, 417 g with NBP100R.
Compatibility:
Designed primarily for the NITECORE NBP100R rechargeable Li-ion pack (recommended). It is also compatible with 2 × 21700 batteries (when suitable for discharge); runtimes and output vary by battery configuration. Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) manages thermal output.
Box contents and accessories:
The package list includes the NBP100R (10,000 mAh), spare O-ring, lanyard, USB-C charging cable, holster and the Wireless Remote Switch Set (remote, hook-and-loop fastener, straps). The remote uses a CR1632 battery (manual indicates approx. 4,000 actuations and a nominal 1 m range for pairing/operation). The product listing shows Picatinny rail mounts ×2 as optional.
