Tauron 5-30x56 GenII SCFF-66 Rifle Scope

The Tauron 5-30x56 GenII (model SCFF-66) is a precision rifle scope intended for varmint hunting and long-range target shooting. It is a First Focal Plane (FFP) scope, so the reticle subtensions scale with magnification.

Optically it provides 5–30x magnification with a 56 mm objective. The MPX1 reticle is etched on glass and features a center dot subtension of 0.1 MIL; it also includes a BDC calibrated for .223 (zero at 200 yd) and .308 (zero at 100 yd). Eye relief is 95 mm and the linear field of view at 100 m is 6.8–1.2 m (20.4–3.6 ft at 100 yd). The tube diameter is 30 mm and side focus is adjustable from 20 yards to infinity. Adjustment value per click is 1/10 MIL; turrets include Zero Stop and a Turret Lock. Elevation travel is greater than 17.5 MIL and windage travel greater than 16 MIL. Diopter compensation ranges from -2 to +2.

Reticle illumination has 6 levels with an On/Off switch and uses a CR2032 battery according to the manufacturer; the battery is not listed among the package contents, so it may need to be purchased separately. The scope is IP67 waterproof, nitrogen filled for fogproofing, and the housing is 6061-T6 aluminum with a matte black finish. Length is 394.5 mm and weight 924 g.

Note: the manufacturer's page shows conflicting values for shockproof rating: it states "Withstands Recoil up to 750G" in one section and "Shockproof | 1000 G" in another. Verify this if critical.
