6 Cavity Mold .356-125-2R (Mold Only, No Handles Included)

90457

LEE 6-Cavity Bullet Mold Designed for 9mm Luger, .38 Super, and .380 ACP Calibers

Precision-engineered to cast 125-grain ogive bullets with a diameter of .356 inches, this mold is optimized for metallic and semi-metallic bullet production, ensuring consistent weight and shape for superior ballistic performance.

Compatible with popular handgun calibers including 9mm Luger, .38 Super, and .380 ACP, this mold is ideal for reloaders and precision shooters seeking high-quality cast projectiles tailored for these specific cartridges.

Engineered for high-volume bullet casting, this mold facilitates efficient production runs, making it suitable for both hobbyists and professional reloaders who demand reliability and repeatability in their bullet manufacturing process.

Constructed from a durable aluminum block reinforced with corrosion-resistant steel bushings, the mold features precision alignment pins that guarantee perfect cavity alignment, minimizing flash and ensuring uniform bullet dimensions.

Aluminum molds offer superior thermal conductivity compared to traditional iron molds, allowing for faster heat-up and cooldown cycles. This results in quicker attainment of optimal casting temperature, enhancing workflow efficiency during extended casting sessions.

Additionally, the lightweight aluminum construction reduces operator fatigue by approximately one-third compared to iron molds, making it easier to handle during prolonged bullet casting operations.

The two aluminum blocks are securely clamped together using specialized mold handles (not included), preventing any movement or misalignment while pouring molten lead or lead alloys, thereby ensuring precise bullet formation.

Equipped with an anodized, extra-hard sprue plate that functions as a pour cup and cutter, this mold enables clean and complete separation of cast bullets from the sprue, minimizing post-casting cleanup and enhancing overall bullet quality.

Note that bullet weights may vary slightly depending on the specific alloy composition used during casting, allowing reloaders to fine-tune their loads for optimal ballistic performance.

Mold handles for opening and closing the mold are sold separately under reference number 90005 and are recommended for safe and efficient operation.

It is highly recommended to thoroughly degrease the mold before initial use and to apply a suitable mold release agent or seasoning product to enhance mold longevity and bullet release characteristics.

Never lubricate the interior cavities of the mold, as this can adversely affect bullet surface finish and dimensional accuracy.

Lightly lubricate the sprue plate retaining screw to ensure smooth operation and prevent seizing during repeated casting cycles.
